This BD-C5500 Samsung Blu-ray DVD player Supports various functions and features. Internet@TV/Samsung Apps, which will provide content from Netflix, Pandora, Vudu, Blockbuster, Picasa, Twitter, Sky News & BBC iPlayer. This can be accessed through a WIS09 which you can purchase separately. This BD-C5500 can be easily connected to your home network through an existing internet hub.

This C5500 is part of Samsung's new "Ultra Fast Play" Blu-ray DVD players. Loading and boot up times have been dramatically reduced to enhance the Blu-ray experience. Along with this the C5500 can play Multi Codec video and must formats. Including DivX HD, WMA, WMV, AVCHD and MKV, to name a few.

To take full advantage of the updates and extra features the C5500 Blu-Ray Player will require regular updating of the software either via USB, WiFi or Ethernet for additional features and copy protection updates from film studios. Please refer to your product user manual for details of updating your Blu Ray Player.
