Updating Remotely

All units come with a 2G SD card which can be expanded if necessary for video content, however the unique power of this unit over the Apis Pro SOLO is that all the information sent to a single player can be  made remotely from an external location. This can be done on any computer providing it is hooked up to the internet link via ethernet. Each screen should then been hooked up also to the broadband and a link between the two can be made from anywhere at any time. This is extremely convenient for those who are dealing with the same content on many locations at one time.

What if the computer goes down?

The great thing about this is that the content for each player is uploaded to be stored on each indivual unit, therefore once it has been updated, the playlist will run its set schedule regardless of whether the main controlling computer goes down or not. This also means that the computer only needs to be online when you are actively updating the machine, so it does not need to be on continually in order for the screens to run their sequence of adverts and visuals.

SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT

Where live updating via graphical text is important, this is a very useful feature.
