The TCC248MTP and TCC248LVTP digital CCD colour/monochrome cameras are ideal for most applications. Solidand sturdy, the cameras are simple to install and use. Mainscameras have a wide-ranging power supply of 98 to 260VAC,whilst the low voltage version uses either 12VDC or 24VAC.voltage versions are available.

For the transmission of video over an unshielded telephonecable, Active Twisted Pair is included.

These cameras use a 1/2 inch high resolution 480 TV Lines sensor, which offers good low light sensitivity (0.6lux), andclean, sharp images. With an automatic electronic shutter andautomatic gain control (AGC), the cameras will operate in awide range of lighting conditions. When using an auto iris lens,the camera will automatically detect whether it is a DC or videodrive (AI) type lens. 

Seven selectable separate backlight compensation (BLC) zonesallow for custom positioning of the camera based on the areabeing observed and specific areas of interest.  The selectable DVR-Saver mode saves valuable DVR harddrive space. When using the DVR-Saver mode on an AmericanDynamics' Intellex, video file sizes are reduced by up to 30 percent. 

All dipswitches are situated on the rear panel, making the camera easy to set up. There is also a back focus thumb wheel,which covers the entire focal range with a single turn. Physicalinstallation is simplified by an embedded 1/4 inch x 20 mount inboth the top and bottom of the camera.
